Program and recipients
Runbook Technologies LLC, operating as Runbook Aviation, offers optional recurring operational text notifications to enrolled pilots, aircraft operators, and maintenance-provider representatives. SMS is off by default. Entering a phone number elsewhere on the website does not subscribe anyone.
Messages you may receive
Providers receive service-opportunity alerts. Operators and pilots receive alerts about provider offers, acknowledgements, estimated arrival times, and status changes such as En Route or Arrived. Participants also receive alerts about new coordination messages.
Texts include structured operational details and direct Runbook links. They do not copy free-text conversations or include participant contact numbers or marketing. A text does not authorize work, establish acknowledgement, or approve spend.
How to opt in
Sign in to Runbook and open Settings, then Updates from Runbook. Enter a mobile or SMS-capable dispatch number you are authorized to enroll, select the separate unchecked SMS consent checkbox, and choose Save SMS consent. The form includes the message description, frequency, rates, HELP and STOP instructions, these terms, and the privacy policy. SMS consent is optional and separate from acceptance of the terms of service.
We record the consent date, method, and disclosure version. After saving, you see confirmation in Settings and receive an enrollment text when sending is available. If sending has not opened yet, Settings explicitly says so. An existing phone number or an administrator’s contact entry is not SMS consent. You may use Runbook without enrolling in texts.
Frequency, cost, and delivery
Message frequency varies with service opportunities and activity on your events. Message and data rates may apply. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Operational information remains available in Runbook when a notification cannot be delivered.
Stop, resume, and help
Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. STOP suppresses program texts to that number across Runbook workspaces, including shared dispatch numbers. You will receive an opt-out confirmation. You may also turn off your own workspace subscription in Settings.
Reply START, YES, or UNSTOP to a previous Runbook text to resume a previously enrolled subscription stopped by text. These keywords do not create a new account or initial enrollment. A subscription disabled in Settings must be explicitly re-enabled there. Other recognized opt-out keywords include STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, and OPTOUT. We do not sell or share mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, or personal information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers receive information needed to operate the program as described in our privacy policy. The terms of service also apply.
